Alinda has a background in medical science, a Psychology degree and a Masters in Medicine Science and Sexual Health, from the University of Sydney. These qualifications allow her to work closely and effectively with those in need. She brings her maturity, experience and training in both the Health Sciences and Psychology to assist clients with relationship and individual care.

Alinda has been involved in the care and management of clients for many years, and provides a professional, safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. Alinda can assist couples to further improve their relationships, reduce conflict, overcome infidelity and learn to listen more actively with empathetically.

Additionally further clinical training through The Gottman Institute, Terry Real (RLT) and others, enables her to assist couples and individuals wanting to bring change into their lives and relationships. The advanced training in the Gottman Method, and being a verified member of this technique, has helped many couples expand their relationships and rebuild with a strong foundation, and a rewarding emotional connection.

Couples often require communication skills to further enrich their relationship, recover from infidelity and learn to enhance their understanding of each other’s needs.

Alinda is not only a certified Relationship Counsellor, but furthermore a Sexual Health Therapist and a registered member of ASSERT (Australian Society of Sex Educators Researchers and Therapists) and ISSHM (International Society of Sexual Heath).  Sexual Health  Therapists are qualified counsellors, and healthcare professionals who have had extensive training in human sexuality, behaviour and relationships. Alinda has extensive clinical experience with Erectile Dysfunction, performance anxiety, delayed and premature ejaculation, porn and sex addiction, and painful sex or Vaginismus.

As a qualified Relationship Counsellor and Sex Therapist, Alinda uses specialised clinical skills and theoretical knowledge to help people deal with relationship issues and/or sexual difficulties or concerns.

Clients can expect her mature, professional and clinical experience to aid them in achieving the goals desired. A focus on result driven therapy has provided many others with success, and her ability to create a comfortable, non-judgemental environment to discuss intimate and personal issues is of great value and importance.
